FEES & REGISTRATION
Below is our fee schedule. We are dedicated to offering affordable classes to as many people as possible who are interested in learning Spanish. For those with limited means, please check out information about our Travelers & Cultural Exchange Scholarship and apply for help paying for these classes if you need it.
We have changed all our prices to pesos as having to convert every week was frustrating to both our staff and students.
GROUP CLASS PROGRAM:
• GROUP CLASSES: $3500MXN per week, Monday- Friday, if paid in-full or in-part by the Friday before classes start ($100MXN discount). If paid Monday classes start, the price is $3600MXN.
Includes: Group classes from 9-12pm, Intercambio Language Exchange (2 hours per week), Short City tour/s, Cultural Workshop as well as a rotating Immersive Activity etc. (Total of 15 hours of group classes, 10 hours of immersive activities—25 hours in total)
One week: $3500MXN per week if paid in full or in part by Friday before your classes start. On Monday the price is $3600MXN.
Discounts for Multiweek study if paid upfront:
- Two weeks for $6900MXN
- Three weeks for $10,100MXN
- Four weeks for $13,200MXN
- For your 5th continuous week and thereafter, the cost is $3100MXN per week if paid the week before classes start.

PRIVATE SPANISH LEARNING PROGRAM:

The cost for all classes is $100MXN more if not paid at least partially in advance.

PRIVATE SPANISH & SPECIALTY CLASSES:
• IN-PERSON PRIVATE CLASS PRICE:
One-on-one classes: $400MXN/HOUR or 10 HOURS for $3600MXN
Two-on-one classes: $270MXN/HR or 10 hours for $2250MXN per student.**
**students must be at the same level of Spanish to take a 2-on-1 class.
• IN-PERSON PRIVATE SPECIALTY CLASSES:
One-on-one classes: $420MXN/HOUR or 10 HOURS for $3800MXN;
Two-on-one classes: $290MXN/HR or 10 hours for $2350MXN per student**
**Levels for some specialty classes can be more flexible than grammar classes.

Themes include: Latin-American literature, cinema, art & art history, culture, medical terminology, expanded versions of “Playful Spanish” (from slang to inclusive & queer Spanish).

ONLINE CLASSES
• ONLINE GROUP CLASSES
1 hour a week (4 hours total): $800MXN
2 hours a week (8 hours total): $1600MXN
3 hours a week (12 hours total): $2300MXN
4 hours a week (16 hours total): $3000MXN
• ONLINE HOURLY CLASSES
ONE-ON-ONE CLASSES: $400MXN/HR; or a Packet of 5 hours for $1800MXN.
TWO-ON-1 CLASSES: $520MXN/HR; or 5 hours for 2250MXN; (Price is for both students, if paying separately, the price is $1150MXN
GROUP PRIVATE CLASSES: $240MXN/HR per student for groups of more than 2 students; Packets of 5 hours for $1000MXN.
• ONLINE SPECIALTY CLASSES:
ONE-ON-ONE CLASSES: $420MXN/HR or a PACKET or Short Courses of 5 hours $1900MXN
TWO-ON-ONE CLASSES: $540MXN/HR; or PACKETS of 5 hours for $2350MXN; (Price is for both students, if paid separately $1200MXN per student).
PRIVATE GROUP RATES: $250MXN/HR per student for groups of more than 2 students; Packets of 5 hours for $1100MXN
• ONLINE PRIVATE CLASSES with EXTRA TASKS:
From 3 to 4 simple tasks per week
ONE-ON-ONE CLASSES: PACKET of 5 hours for $2250MXN
TWO-ON-ONE CLASSES: PACKET of 5 hours for $3000MXN (Price is for both students, if paid separately $1600MXN per student).
INTENSIVE OPTIONS:

WORKSHOPS
CULTURAL LANGUAGE WORKSHOPS:
• Playful Spanish Weekly Standing Workshop (if only one student, we offer it at private class costs)
The Group price is $400MXN per student for each thematic 1.5-hour one-day class, and $1800MXN for a 7.5-hour workshop.
• CRASH COURSES
OPTIONS INCLUDE: SPANISH FOR TRAVELERS, CONTEMPORARY ART IN OAXACA or POLITICS IN OAXACA
(5 hours in 2 days):
One-on-one class: $1900MXN;
For 2 or more students: $1300MXN per person

• OTHER COMMUNITY WORKSHOPS
Workshops and other activities that take place in La Guarida have varying costs (prices and/or suggested donations).

IMMERSIVE ACTIVITIES & TOURS
Our Group and Private Class Programs already include Intercambios Language Exchange Partners (4 hours per week), the Short City tour, a Cultural Workshop and a rotating weekly activity.
• If you would like to participate in our 10 hours of Immersive Activities, without taking classes, the cost is $1200MXN.
• Urban Exploration tours cost for students: Suggested donation of $250-500 pesos depending on the activity/duration. This does not include other costs, such as transportation (by city bus, motortaxi, etc.), entrance fees (where applicable) and food. Ask us for an estimate of these costs before your trip.
HOMESTAYS
• Most of our homestays in and around the historic downtown, rooms cost $480MXN per night and include breakfast. Each family usually offers other meals for an additional cost. For two people sharing a room and both getting breakfast, the usual cost is $850MXN total.
• We are exploring other options for homestays even further outside of the touristy parts of the city that might vary a little in price depending on the area. Let us know if you are interested in this option.
